Attiyah Lone Solicitors has incorporated Elite International Agents as part of the practice. Elite deals with the registration and transfer of football players between different clubs of the same or different jurisdiction.
Mr. N. Lone is licensed by the English Football Association (FA) to represent any player throughout the world within the FIFA jurisdiction. He is also qualified to represent professional football clubs in contract negotiations with players, provided he does not act for the player and club in respect of the same transaction (conflict of interest).
The benefit that can be offered by our practice compared with other football agents is that within the scope of the representation contract of any player, we are able to provide ongoing legal advice on any contractual issue that may arise between club and player. Implicit in this advice is the inclusion of certain clauses within the contract of employment which may include, for example, imaging rights or “get-out clauses.”
The service that we provide is governed by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. Players and clubs can be reassured by the standards imposed by the Authority, particularly in the area of client care.
We have access to a wide range of bi-lingual interpreters who can be made available should you wish to engage their services whilst in the UK. Due to the strict requirements imposed by the Home Office for the provision of work permits for players outside the European Community (EC); we are only able to accept instructions from players of International calibre. This restriction does not apply to players moving from any EC country to the UK.
In respect of those players that we are able to represent, there is no fee payable to Elite International for any pre-contractual negotiations or any costs that we incur in accommodating those players who have been invited to trials in the UK. The same applies to those players that we agree to visit outside the UK jurisdiction with a view to affecting a transfer to the UK. Our fees would only be payable in the event of a players signing a "representation contract," and this is expressed as a percentage of their annual salary in accordance with the English FA Rules.
If you would like to know more about whether we are able to consider representing you in respect of a transfer to the English Premier or lower leagues, please contact us via telephone on 020 8735 9999 or email allaw2@aol.com with your details. The agent will respond to your query as soon as possible.
